welcome dogs & cats to their pet friendly cottages on peaceful Purdy Lake,
which is located between Bancroft and Barry's Bay on the quieter, southeast
side of Ontario's Algonquin Park. There is no extra charge for pets.

The Canadian West
Highland White Terrier Club (CWHWTC) is the national breed Club for
Westies. The website provides general information about the Club and about
Westies such as grooming, training, breeding, health, behavior, rescue, pet
tips etc.
Responsible Dog
Owners of Canada (RDOC) is a registered, non-profit, national organization
comprised of volunteers who believe that responsibility, respect and
recognition are fundamental components of dog ownership.
Helping Homeless Pets: Their
mission is to support legitimate and ethical Pet Rescue organizations by
assisting them with certain services and allowing them to focus on the care and
finding of a suitable home for the pets they have rescued. Westies in Need is
proud to be a member of HHP
Hopefull
Hearts The mission of Hopeful Hearts Rescue Inc. is to provide safe and
caring foster homes to dogs who are homeless, with a particular focus on, but
not limited to, senior and special needs dogs.
Kiko Dog Rescue and
Adoptions is a small non-profit rescue group located west of Montreal near
the Quebec/Ontario border and is named after a little black Pug rescued from a
puppy mill
