Bonnie was a bonnie lass from the get go, and stole our hearts from the first moment we held her. She wagged her tail non-stop until the very last.
She was a gentle, playful and loving little girl. She so loved rolling onto her back for a tummy rub, prancing around with her favourite toys, going for walks, and hiding under beds.
At the age of 4, she developed diabetes's and struggled with it for the remainder of her life. She was always so good when giving her needles, taking her blood, and whatever else we needed to do. Always so sweet.
Bonnie was the light of our lives, and was a joy to be with and will be extremely missed.
Rest well our little angel.
They will not go quietly, the Westie's who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Our habits still make us think we hear a barking at the door. Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel to the floor.
Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And sometimes, coming home at night we miss the terribly. And although time may bring new friends, and a new food dish to fill, that one place in our hearts belong to them... and always will.
