Abby was a sassy little fur ball of energy who stole my heart from the moment I met her.
When she was a puppy, she would run laps around the house, and then dive under the sofa and bark at me to come fish her out. She always made me laugh! Abby always wanted to play, snuggle and sleep in HER king size bed! She also loved playing with her westie brother Brody, spending time sunning herself at the cottage and roaming the yard for squirrels and rabbits. Her grandpa’s lap was her favorite place to rest.
Unfortunately Abby was also plagued by a serious skin affliction related to severe allergies. During her first trip to the vet, they recommended that I return her, but I couldn’t do it. I already loved her too much!
For years she persevered through other illnesses with strength and spunkiness. Abby lost her short battle with cancer on November 22, 2016 within 3 weeks of being diagnosed. The years we spent together made memories to last a lifetime.
Words cannot express the emptiness that is left without her in our lives. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Rest in peace little monkey. You have forever left your paw print on my heart.
Love, Mummy & Brody xoxo
