It is with a saddened heart that I announce the passing of my sidekick Cali girl.  Cali came into my life in February of 2014. We think she was born in 2004.

 

She was a feisty girl with attitude.  It took her awhile to trust me but we soon were inseparable.  She was always right beside me whether cooking in the kitchen or working at the computer.  Cali loved a warm shower, she would just sit and enjoy the warm water on her back.  She loved our walks in the park and neighbourhood.  While at first she was nervous she loved our rides in the car and was always ready for our next adventure.  She loved to sleep snuggled up in bed and every night she would announce it was time for bed.  

 

Cali was very determined to do things her way.  

 

I had a particularly tough year personally and even though her own health was failing she stayed with me for a full year to get me through.   Even in her last moments she did things her way.  Cali passed away on December 8, 2017. 

 

I will cherish that Westie spirit forever and the true gift of her time with me.
