Maggie was our first Westie, and a fiesty little girl from day one, who could be quite stubborn at times. A true Westie, and so very very lovable.
She loved playing with her ball, and taught us how to fetch; knocking her balls down the stairs, and waiting for us to go get them.
She loved to be outside, and when winter game, enjoyed playing in the snow.
At the age of 6, she developed diabetes's and struggled with it for the remainder of her life. She took her shots, and medications for her various aliments without so much of a turn of her head. Always so good.
Maggie was so much a part of our lives, we will miss her dearly.
She is now with her cousin, Bonnie, who we lost last year.
Rest well our angels.
Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere
In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me
My spirit is near
I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running
New friends by my side
Smile at my memory
Remember in your heart
This isn't the end
It's a brand new start
