An update...Abby has been adopted! She met her forever family and she knew it was the perfect home for her!

Daisy...is just 3 years old and has come to us from a puppy mill.

This poor little darling was bred FAR too many times but has now been spayed and is ready to join a family and have the wonderful life that she so deserves!!!!

An update...Daisy has been adopted! Her new name will be Piper and she loved her foster family so much, she asked if she could stay and live with them forever.

Lexi...is only 5 1/2 months old and comes to us as on owner surrender. This is one cute but BUSY young lady and she is having so much fun at her foster home.

She needs to see our Vet to be spayed and then she will be ready to meet her new family!

An update...Lexi has been adopted! She met Joni and her family and just knew it was the best home for her!

Reilly...is just 10 months old and is a Westie/Poodle mix and is being fostered in the Toronto area.

He is going for a groom (he looks kinda wild!!!) and then he is off to see the Vet..... (well you ALL know what 2 things he will be losing at the Vet...we just don't want him to know!!!!)

He is a cute boy for sure and will need some training and a family who will love him and give him some boundries!!!!

An update...Reilly has been adopted! He sure is a cutie and will love his new home.

Molly...is just 10 years old and is an owner surrender. Sweet, sweet Molly has some health and skin issues that we are dealing with right now, but we will make sure that she is feeling better very soon!

We sure know skin at Westies in Need and this will be an easy fix for us!!!

An update...Molly has been adopted! Her skin is 100% better and she is now off to join her new family!!!

Vince...is an active 9 year old and loves his twice daily walks. He is very friendly and likes to meet other dogs and humans alike on his walks.

He loves hanging out with his person and his toys and has no issues being left on his on for a few hours or more with his toys!

He is not a huge fan of riding in the car and can be a wee bit vocal about it.

Vince came to us with some skin and ear issues and is now fully recovered and ready to meet his new “fur-ever” family!

An update...Vince has been adopted! This super sweet boy has found a couch to call his own!!!

Charlie... is just 5 years old and is a snuggler of the VERY highest order. This is one of those "once in a life-time" kinda Westies!

Sweet, loving, fun and as handsome as can be!

An update...Charlie has been adopted! He came to have some fun at our Westies in Need indoor play day and he had a meet and greet with a family right there. They just loved him and he sure felt the same...so after all the home visits and checks were done, Charlie has become a member of a new family!

Dou Dou... is just 6 years old and sadly this sweet boy's owner was no longer able to care for him and she trusted in us to find him a good home!

Dou Dou loves other animal companions, children and loved to run on his farm land.

Hughie... is 4 years old and comes to us from an owner surrender. This very sweet and gently boy needs to see our Vet and then he will be off to meet his new family!!!

Charlie... is only 4 years old and is an owner surrender. He is a Westie-mix (not sure what is the mix) and as you can see, he is just as cute as can be and sure looks comfy in his foster home!

Charlie need to see the Vet to be neutered and have his teeth cleaned and then he will be ready to meet his new family!

An update...Charlie has been adopted. He met Lesley and knew that his forever Mommy was right in front of him!

Please welcome Heather, Fiona and Gavin (3 adult Westies) and Calum and Ross (5 month old puppies) to our rescue.

These darlings have all come to us from a puppy mill situation and we could not be happier that they are now all safe and loved in our rescue.

Bianca and Milou... are both about 8 years old. They were surrendered by their ower when they could no longer care for them.

After a little flight, she has arrived safe and sound and is now in foster care.

Poncho is a 3 year old boy who comes to us as an owner surrender. Our love and thanks to his family for trusting us to find him a  wonderful new home.

Poncho needs to see our Vet as he needs to be neutered (sorry Poncho..but they have to go!!!!) and then will be ready to join his new family!

An update...Poncho has been adopted! he met Madison and he knew it was the right spot for him!!!

Max is an 8 yr old Max, owner surrender into to a shelter in Quebec.

Max was depressed and not doing well in the shelter  but we're happy to report that he's doing much better with our great foster volunteers!!

We're so happy to have sprung him out of there and so is he!

Benji is a 9 yr old neutered westie mix. Sadly, Benji's owner passed away.

Benji has a horrible ear infection and he's overweight,  so a new diet of healthy foods and excercise begins right now. He will see our vet very soon!

Zoey is a 6 yr old owner surrender.

She is super outgoing and friendly ...  loving other dogs and humans of all ages!

She is off to see our vet for an exam and her spay surgery won't be far behind it.

Stanley is just 17 months old and comes to us as an owner surrender.

Tigars and Maggie are littermates and are only 5 years old. They are an owner surrender and we can not begin to thank the family for allowing us to help them.

These little ones are VERY bonded and will be adopted together. They are being fostered in Quebec and are having fun at their foster home.

Gambler is a 2 yr old westie/maltese mix that was saved from being euthanized at a shelter.

Our thanks to Sit With Me Dog Rescue  who went in and evaluated this boy, determining that he has potential to be a great family pet.

Faith is a sweet girl who came to us  (along with Hope that you see below) from a bad situation...but that is all behind them both now!

Vanille is a 2 yr old female with some mild skin issues that we will have under control in no time!!!

Vanille is an owner surrender, coming from a home  where she was not happy living with a young child.

Much thanks to foster Mom who took her in on a moments notice...Vanille is fostering in Ottawa and will be off to see our vet first thing this week.
