Barnaby comes to us with, as you can see, some skin issues....but that sure does not scare Westies in Need....we know skin and will get him feeling better soon!

An update...Barnaby has been adopted.  He asked his foster Mommy if he could stay and live with them forever and they said yes!!!!!

Edward and Spencer are two adorable “brothers” who are quite opposites in temperament but equally charming in character and looks. They are owner surrenders and truly are inseparable.

Edward (which means a big, strong and respected or dependable person, usually a man; one who is large like a horse.) is 8 years old and his little brother, Spencer is 6 years old.

An update...Edward and Spener have been adopted.  These 2 darling boys were adopted together and are so happy in their new home.

Rosie is a 6 year old little Westie mix that comes to us from a home that could no longer care for her. This sweet but scared little girl has a great foster home now and will be relaxing and just learning how to be a Westie for a while and then she will be ready to join a new family.

An update...Rosie has been adopted.  Rosie-Mae (as she will be known) has found her "fur"ever home with Lorna and Dave!

Duffy, a 12 year old boy (on the right) and Brodie...a 6 year old boy (pictured on the left) are a very bonded pair and we were asked by their family that they be adopted together...and of course that is exactly what we will do.

These 2 boys are so sweet and so loving, they walk well on a leash and are both house broken and both are excellent kissers!!!

They are enjoying their time at their foster home in the Hamilton area.

An update...Duffy and Brodie have been adopted! Two cuter boys could not be found and they are together and so happy!!!!

Wilson...is a 3 year old male who was taken from a puppy mill in Ontario.

A sweeter or kinder soul could not be found. This is a darling Westie who is now loving his life at his foster Mom's home until he meets his new family.

An update...Wilson has been adopted.  This sweet boy will be living with Shirley and her family!!!

Willy...was a Westie in Need for sure...WiN to the rescue for this sweet, 6 yr. old male that comes to us from a back yard breeder.

So happy to WELCOME this boy to a new and better life!

Willy is fostering in Ottawa .. he will be off to see our vet as he has mites and yeast in his ears, needs neuter/dental. Sorry Willy but the boyz must go ... your rendezvous days at the back yard breeders are OVER!!! Foster Mom has cut off his dreadlocks and he's feeling so much better already ... not to mention he smells better too!!

An update...Willy has been adopted! This little boy is gonna have a wonderful life in his new and "fur" ever home.

Muffin...is a little Westie Poodle mix that is an owner surrender.

She is just a year old and is such a little peanut...only about 12 lbs!

She is getting spayed right away and then she will be ready to meet her new family.

Charlie...is 4 years old and is such a nice boy....he is an owner surrender as his family could no longer take care of him.

Jack and Elliott... are a bonded pair of Westies who must be adopted together. Both are 3 years old.

Their previous owner's job has changed and as heart breaking as it is, they want them to have the attention they so deserve!

Timothy...is 5 years old and was released from a puppy mill with his friend, Allison.

He is so adorable and wants to please....he has lived his entire life in a cage and is now walking on grass and making friends and having fun!

Allison...is 3 years old and is just as sweet as can be.

She was released from a puppy mill and is now enjoying being free.

She has now been spayed and will become a Canadian citizen shortly and soon will be in a new and loving home.

An update...Yummy has been adopted! She met Jeff and it was love at first kiss!

Bran...is just 7 yr old and is a neutered male who was surrendered because his owner has severe dementia and has gone to a nursing home.

Bran will see our vet for a little check-up and have a day at the spa ... he is fostering in Ottawa.

Daisy...is just 3 years old and has come to us from a puppy mill.

This poor little darling was bred FAR too many times but has now been spayed and is ready to join a family and have the wonderful life that she so deserves!!!!

Lexi...is only 5 1/2 months old and comes to us as on owner surrender. This is one cute but BUSY young lady and she is having so much fun at her foster home.

She needs to see our Vet to be spayed and then she will be ready to meet her new family!

An update...Lexi has been adopted! She met Joni and her family and just knew it was the best home for her!

Reilly...is just 10 months old and is a Westie/Poodle mix and is being fostered in the Toronto area.

He is going for a groom (he looks kinda wild!!!) and then he is off to see the Vet..... (well you ALL know what 2 things he will be losing at the Vet...we just don't want him to know!!!!)

He is a cute boy for sure and will need some training and a family who will love him and give him some boundries!!!!

An update...Reilly has been adopted! He sure is a cutie and will love his new home.

Molly...is just 10 years old and is an owner surrender. Sweet, sweet Molly has some health and skin issues that we are dealing with right now, but we will make sure that she is feeling better very soon!

We sure know skin at Westies in Need and this will be an easy fix for us!!!

An update...Molly has been adopted! Her skin is 100% better and she is now off to join her new family!!!

Vince...is an active 9 year old and loves his twice daily walks. He is very friendly and likes to meet other dogs and humans alike on his walks.

He loves hanging out with his person and his toys and has no issues being left on his on for a few hours or more with his toys!

He is not a huge fan of riding in the car and can be a wee bit vocal about it.

Vince came to us with some skin and ear issues and is now fully recovered and ready to meet his new “fur-ever” family!

An update...Vince has been adopted! This super sweet boy has found a couch to call his own!!!

Charlie... is just 5 years old and is a snuggler of the VERY highest order. This is one of those "once in a life-time" kinda Westies!

An update...Charlie has been adopted! He came to have some fun at our Westies in Need indoor play day and he had a meet and greet with a family right there. They just loved him and he sure felt the same...so after all the home visits and checks were done, Charlie has become a member of a new family!

Dou Dou... is just 6 years old and sadly this sweet boy's owner was no longer able to care for him and she trusted in us to find him a good home!

Dou Dou loves other animal companions, children and loved to run on his farm land.

Hughie... is 4 years old and comes to us from an owner surrender. This very sweet and gently boy needs to see our Vet and then he will be off to meet his new family!!!

Charlie... is only 4 years old and is an owner surrender. He is a Westie-mix (not sure what is the mix) and as you can see, he is just as cute as can be and sure looks comfy in his foster home!

Please welcome Heather, Fiona and Gavin (3 adult Westies) and Calum and Ross (5 month old puppies) to our rescue.

These darlings have all come to us from a puppy mill situation and we could not be happier that they are now all safe and loved in our rescue.

Bianca and Milou... are both about 8 years old. They were surrendered by their ower when they could no longer care for them.

Max is an 8 yr old Max, owner surrender into to a shelter in Quebec.

Max was depressed and not doing well in the shelter  but we're happy to report that he's doing much better with our great foster volunteers!!

We're so happy to have sprung him out of there and so is he!
