“Changing Lives, One Westie at a Time”6

Success Stories

Westies in Need (WiN) works very hard to match our wonderful dogs with equally wonderful new families. Here are some of our success stories!

Lilly's Story

One of our little rescues was named Lilly - she was the worst case of skin problems we had ever seen when she arrived into our rescue program. The Pet Network saw her info on our website and asked if they could do a story on our Lilly and our rescue. Click here to watch the video of Lilly and her journey...they did a great job and we can't thank the Pet Network enough for supporting us!  Lilly says THANKS too!

Nola
Nola

Nola is 4 years old and is a sweet girl! She has lots of energy, loves to play fetch and is a very cuddly girl!!!! Welcome Nola to Westies in Need.

An update...Nola (her name will be Scotia) has been adopted! She met Carole and her family and asked if she could live with them forever!!!

Bella
Bella

Bella is 11 months old and is an owner surrender. She has some skin issues and will need surgery on her little back left leg to correct a genetic problem, but we promise that we will make sure that she gets all the medical help that she needs and all the love as well! She is such a tiny girl, only 5.2 kg and is very sweet!!!!

An update...The surgery on Bella's leg was a 100% successful and her skin is so nice and pink now. Bella is looking and feeling great...and she has been adopted! Could not have happened to a nicer Westie.

Kenzie
Kenzie

Kenzie is 3 years old and as you can see is a very handsome boy!!! He is an owner surrender and we can not thank his family enough for allowing us to find him a new family. He is a high energy boy and is such a happy soul!!! We feel that he will do best in a quieter home with no other dog or cat as he has a bit of "happy peeing" that he does if he gets too excited.

An update...Kenzie has been adopted. This darling, darling boy will now be the "fur"ever Westie to Marion and her family.

An update...Brody has been adopted! This handsome boy is now in his forever home and is having the time of his life!

Old Blue Eyes...

OK...this one is not really a WiN Westie
