Westies in Need (WiN) works very hard to match our wonderful dogs with equally wonderful new families. Here are some of our success stories!
Lilly's Story
One of our little rescues was named Lilly - she was the worst case of skin problems we had ever seen when she arrived into our rescue program. The Pet Network saw her info on our website and asked if they could do a story on our Lilly and our rescue. Sally came to us in need and we’re doing all we can to get her feeling better and adopted to a wonderful new family!
6 yr old “Sally” has skin issues and is also recovering from recent surgery to remove very large bladder stones. It was a rough weekend but this wee girl is a “fighter” and we’re hopeful for a full recovery!!

An update...Sally has been adopted! This was a hard one for us...we loved this girl back to life and back to health, so it was difficult to let her move on, but that is JUST what she needed. Sally is one lucky girl for sure.
Our newest member of Westies in Need is Lexie. She is 6 years old and comes to us as an owner surrender. She is just the sweetest girl and we will make sure she finds a perfect new home.

4 year old Petunia has come to us from a breeder surrender. She needs to be spayed and have a good check over from our Vet, and then she will be all set to join a new family!

This handsome boy has come to us from a breeder surrender and he is just a sweetie. He is only 5 years old and does need to see our Vet for his neuter (sorry fella, but the "boys" have to go!!!) and then he will be joining a new and furever family.

Violette is just 3 years and comes to us from a breeder surrender. She is just as cute as can be and after she is spayed and gets her check up with the Vet, she will be all ready to join a new family.

This 6 year old female came into our rescue, along with JoJo and Mylo. Capucine has seen our Vet, had her spay and a good check over and is now feeling great!

6 year old JoJo has come to us from a breeder release and we know that with some good nutrition and love.....and fur growth.....she will be the lovely Westie that we always knew she could be.

Fergus is currently in a "foster to adopt" home. He is just 3 years old and our love and thanks go out to his family for trusting us to find him his new and "fur"ever home!

9 yr old Roy came to us from the Montreal SPCA, where he was found to have bladder stones and several lipoma’s. Roy was fostered in Quebec while he underwent surgery at our vet. After months of a good solid routine, LOTS of patience, raw diet/supplements, meds for incontinence and a dental cleaning … Roy has flourished!
An update...his foster Mom, Shelley and her other Westie TJ offically adopted Roy, who's new name will be Brady.
Molly was an owner surrender into our rescue and we can not thank the family enough for trusting in us to find her a new home. Molly is 12 years old and is being fostered in the Montreal area. Welcome Miss Molly to Westies in Need!

Thunder is just 4 years old and is a snuggler of the highest order. He has come to us from a mill but that life is behind him for sure. He has been neutered and is ready to join a loving family!
An update...Thunder has been adopted. His new name will be Cooper and he is one happy boy!!!!
Baby Trooper is just 3 months old and has come to us from a puppy mill, along with his puppy friends that you see below. He is SUCH a lover and gives the very best kisses.
He is loving his foster home and will be joining his forever family shortly.

Little 4 month old Bobby is, as you can see, just about as cute as it gets! This darling pup was saved from a puppy mill and will be joining a new family shortly.

Darling Rocket has come to us (along with 4 other Westies above you see here!) from a terrible mill situation. He is safe now and is going to have the very best life. He needs to go in for his neuter tomorrow (sorry about that Rocket!!!) and then will be ready to join a family.

Sweet Dixie is settling in nicely, doing very well having someone home the majority of the time dedicated to her house training and she's loving having a senior Westie sister. Dixie will be off to our vet for spay very soon!

Hiro (10 years old) and Shooter (13 years old) come to us as a bonded pair and are in need of our help because of skin issues. They are currently in foster care getting the Vet treatment needed and then will be ready for adoption.

Welcome Toby to Westies in Need. This little Westie/Yorkie mix is just 2 years old and is as cute as can be! He is in foster care right now and needs some relaxing (and gaining weight!!) time and then he will be up for adoption!

Darling Scotty has come to us as an owner surrender. Our love and thanks to his family for trusting in us to find him a new home.
Scotty is 7 years old and loves all people, dogs, cats and kids!
