WiN to the Rescue - and those words could not be more true when it comes to these 7 sweethearts that came to us via an auction... Yes, an event that auctions off dogs like they were cars or farm equipment.

Les Pentek and his wife Maria were long time Westie parents and wonderful supporters of Westies in Need. When Les passed earlier this year, he left a donation for WiN which allowed us to save these seven sweet souls and provide them with the much-needed medical care and grooming each of them needed.
Thank you Les for your loving generosity enabling us to save these 7 Westies. We are beyond grateful!

Lovey - After spending her life, 8 years, in a mill and likely having 2 litters every year, she was rescued. Lovey was seen by a vet who diagnosed her with pyometra and informed us that she was still carrying a dead litter of pups. Rescuing her is one thing, truly saving her life is another.

Livey- also 8 years old is such cutie and we are beyond happy that we could save her

Ricky and Mickey- 2 brothers who are just 9 months old and as you can see are pretty adorable.

Hope- a sister to Lovey and Livey----she is a little quieter than her sisters, but love to play

Danny- a little boy, just 4 years old and he is adjusting so well

Lizzy- is just 2 years old and is just about as sweet as can be.
